Ashraf Abou El Kheir is a lawyer and partner at Alliance Law Firm Egypt. He is in charge of the mergers and acquisitions division. He has over than 20 years of experience in corporate, securities brokerage, complex mergers and acquisitions, structuring, corporate restructuring, and competition law. His range of expertise extends beyond the Egyptian market to other markets in different regions, including the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Latin America. He also served as the First Vice President of Lafarge in France and Regional Legal Counsel.
He is a Board member in several companies established in different countries including CI Capital Holding and Balmain in France. Abou Al-Khair has previously practiced law at well-known international law firms in France and Egypt and began his career as General Attorney at the Ministry of Justice in Egypt.
Abou El Kheir has a long record in concluding deals with a number of the largest and most influential players in the Egyptian market, the Middle East and Europe. He managed, supervised, negotiated, formulated, led, advised, and organized many complex transactions.
He received his PhD in Business Law (with Honors) from the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences at the University of Montpellier in France in 2003. He was also awarded the "Didier Rocher" award for the best doctorate in business law in France and a Master of Laws in International Commercial Law - International Business Law (IDAI) University of Paris One - Sorbonne. Abou El Kheir holds a Bachelor of Law from the Faculty of Law, Alexandria University in 1996.
